Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)

The Diploma in Information Technology is NICS’s flagship programme, examined by the Punjab Board of Technical Education, Lahore. Over two semesters students move from computer fundamentals and office applications to programming, networking, graphics, and a final project.

DIT examination fees are charged according to the latest PBTE notification and are not included in the institute tuition listed on the fee page.

First Semester

• Introduction to Computer & Operating Systems (DOS, Windows & Server)
• Business Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Management & E-Commerce
• Database Management using MS Access
• Programming Fundamentals, Flow Charts and Programming with VB.NET
• Functional English I
• Work Ethics I

Second Semester

• Graphic Design & Animation
• System Analysis & Design
• Introduction to Computer Networking
• Web Development
• Functional English II
• Work Ethics II
